UBG Trading Values: Styles, Gloves and Shinies Priced
The Honest State of UBG Values
Here’s what nobody tells you: there is no authoritative UBG value list. The community wiki’s trading page carries a fragment (a couple of entries, self-described as “updating every day” while visibly stale). Discord price-checks vary server to server. Anyone posting precise numbers without sources is guessing.
So this page does two things instead: tracks reference points with a source and date attached, and teaches the pricing logic that stays true even as numbers move.
What Drives Value
- Rarity tier — Shiny variants of Legendary styles top the chart; Uncommons trade at noise level.
- Availability — anything from an expired code or rotated event only enters circulation through trades. Scarcity is the whole game.
- Meta relevance — post-Surgeon, counter-meta styles trade hotter; a nerf cools asks within days.
- Effect rolls — unusual-effect gloves are the S-tier of the glove economy.
Reference Points (with sources)
| Item | Reference | Source, date |
|---|---|---|
| Shiny Black (glove line) | 90-100k range | community wiki fragment, checked Aug 31 |
| Standard shop gloves | near-zero premium | structural (always purchasable) |
| Surgeon-meta styles | elevated asks post-update | market logic; verify per-trade |
We list only what we can source. As the page matures, confirmed trades with dates replace ranges — that’s the maintenance promise this site runs on.
Avoiding Bad Trades
- Cross-check twice: one Discord price-check + one recent completed trade beats any static list.
- Date your data: a value from before the Surgeon patch is a different economy.
- Distrust round-number confidence: real markets have ranges. Fixed prices are manipulation or nostalgia.
